About the WA State Government
Overview
The Western Australian State Government (also known as the Public Sector) is a diverse and dynamic group of over 200 agencies that work together to provide a wide range of services to the people of Western Australia.
The most distinguishable areas of the WA State Government are Government departments and agencies. These departments and agencies are responsible for providing all West Australians with the best possible services, including health care, education, environmental and corrective services plus much more.
